Use case
Build targeted lists of contractors and trades businesses by trade and metro, then reach the owner on their direct email and cell. Built for anyone who sells to the trades.
You sell to the trades: field-service software, supplies, equipment financing, fleet or liability insurance, payments, or any B2B product a plumber, HVAC company, or roofer actually buys. But the trades are local and offline. There is no clean directory of the electricians in a metro, listings give you a generic office line and often no website, and the person who signs the check is an owner-operator running the company from a truck, not someone sitting at a listed email. So you either buy a stale national file or piece the list together by hand, one map pin at a time.
Because the trades live on the map, the workflow is Maps-first. Pull every operator by trade and metro, confirm the active ones against Angi and Yelp reviews, then resolve the owner's direct email and cell so your reps reach the person who decides. Every step exports to the same CSV.
Your primary source. Run a search like "HVAC contractors in Phoenix, Arizona" and export every operator to CSV: name, address, phone, website, category, and rating. Run one search per trade to cover the whole metro, and it is our most-used scraper for a reason.
Angi is where home-services contractors advertise and collect reviews, so it is the ideal second source for the trades. Cross-reference it against your Maps list to confirm which operators are active and taking jobs today, and to catch businesses that never set up a map listing.
Pull the same trade from Yelp to widen coverage and add another review signal. An operator that shows up on Maps, Angi, and Yelp with recent reviews is a real, running business worth your rep's time.
Skip the scrape when you want reach fast. Query pre-built local and small-business records with phones, ratings, and location data across many metros in one pull, then scrape the exact trade for a fresh shortlist.
Many trade listings show a phone but no website. Resolve a domain from the business name so the next step has something to work with, then hand the domains to the Email Finder.
Turn business names and resolved domains into verified emails, so every operator on the list has a real inbox you can send to instead of a contact form.
The field that matters most for the trades. Append the owner's cell number, so your reps and dialers reach the person who runs the company from a truck and answers their phone.
A single CSV of every HVAC operator in a metro, each row confirmed active by reviews and carrying the owner's direct email and cell alongside the business phone, address, and rating. You know exactly who is worth a call and how to reach them without going through an office line.
| Business | Owner cell | Rating | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Desert Air Heating & Cooling | (602) 555-0173 | mike@desertairhc.com | 4.9 |
| Valley Comfort HVAC | (480) 555-0128 | office@valleycomforthvac.com | 4.7 |
Say you sell field-service software and want every HVAC company in the Phoenix metro, confirmed active, with the owner's cell so your reps can actually get through. Here is the whole run, start to finish.
Run the Google Maps Scraper on "HVAC contractors in Phoenix, Arizona" at $0.0099 per business per record. It returns every operator Google surfaces, business name, address, phone, website, category, and rating, one row each. Add the neighboring searches ("air conditioning repair", "heating and cooling") to catch operators filed under a different category.
Run the Angi Scraper and the Yelp Scraper on HVAC in the same metro. Match them to your Maps list and keep the operators with recent reviews across sources. This drops the dormant pins and dead listings, so you spend your reps' time on businesses that are actually running jobs.
For rows with no website, run the Website Finder ($0.0499 per contact found) to resolve a domain from the business name. Feed those domains and business names to the Email Finder ($0.05 per email found (FREE if not found)) to attach a verified email to each operator. Rows without a findable email are flagged for a call.
Run the list through the Mobile Finder ($0.25 per number found (FREE if not found)) to add a mobile number per operator. For owner-run trade businesses this is usually the owner's own cell, which is the line they actually answer.
Export one CSV: business, address, phone, website, rating, review status, verified email, and owner cell per row. Load it into your CRM or dialer and work the metro. Re-run the trade any time you want a refreshed, review-checked list, then repeat the whole flow in the next metro.
Every contractor list on ScraperCity is built through our platform, so we can see how the sellers who work the trades well put their lists together. The pattern is consistent:
