1. Who we are
ScraperCity (“we”, “us”) runs scrapercity.com and its APIs. We operate cloud infrastructure that executes data-extraction jobs (“Scrapers”). We make no claim that any Scraper or data is legal, accurate, or non-infringing. All liability rests with you.
2. Accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You are responsible for everything done with your API key.
3. Credits & Billing
| Credit type | How it works |
|---|---|
| Free $5 credit | Added on sign-up. Unused free credit does not roll over. |
| Paid plans | Billed at the start of each cycle. Upgrades / downgrades are prorated. |
| Purchased credits | Consumed when you run a Scraper. If your paid plan lapses, all purchased credits expire immediately. |
3.1 No refunds
All payments are final. No refunds or charge-backs for any reason.
4. Use of Scrapers
- You must ensure every scrape is legal in all relevant jurisdictions.
- No scraping of personal data that is not publicly available.
- Abusive traffic will be blocked automatically.
We supply tooling only; you bear all risk arising from your scraping activity.
5. Privacy & Data Handling
We may collect, store, process, analyse, aggregate, or commercialise any information you submit or generate while using ScraperCity (including account details, payment info, request logs, scraped results, and personal data). By using the service you grant us an unrestricted, perpetual licence to do so. You are solely responsible for obtaining any required consents related to personal data.
6. Data & Intellectual Property
All scraped data is delivered as-is. We make no warranties. You obtain no licence to any third-party intellectual property in the data.
7. Fulfilment policy
A job is considered fulfilled once its results are available for download, even if you never retrieve them.
8. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS.” WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. IN NO EVENT WILL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.
9. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold ScraperCity harmless from any claim, loss, or liability arising out of your use of the service or the data obtained.
10. Governing law
Wyoming, USA. Exclusive venue is in Cheyenne courts.
11. Changes
We may update these terms at any time by posting a new version. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
