ScraperCity for franchise marketers

Map every territory, give each location a list of nearby businesses to partner with, and find the owners and operators who could open your next unit.

Franchise marketing happens at two levels at once. The brand team plans markets, sizes territories, and recruits new owners. Every location also needs its own local marketing: the offices, schools, gyms, and shops a few miles away that could become catering accounts, referral partners, or co-promotions. Both jobs start from the same question. Which businesses sit inside this territory, and how do we reach them?

ScraperCity answers that from one account. The local business database holds 68.3M+ businesses you can filter by category and by the ZIP codes, cities, or states that make up a territory. The B2B contact database adds the owners, operators, and executives behind them.

Opening a new metro, step by step

Say a fast-casual brand is opening three units in a metro it has never served. This is the work, done from one account.

  1. Size the market. Search the local business database for your own category and for the categories that feed you, such as offices, schools, and gyms, across the metro's ZIP codes. The counts show where demand clusters and how many competitors already serve each part of town.
  2. Draw the territories. Group the ZIP codes so each territory holds a comparable number of the businesses that drive your sales, and no new owner starts with a thin patch.
  3. Hand each location its list. Save one search per territory with "has email" or "has contact person" switched on, then export a CSV for each owner. Their local marketing starts from businesses they can reach on day one.
  4. Keep the lists growing. Turn on AutoLeads for each territory search, and businesses added to the database that fit it arrive in the location's list every morning.
  5. Recruit the next owner. Search the B2B contact database for owners and operating partners in restaurants, hospitality, and retail across the region, then run the list through the Email Validator before outreach.
